The presenters compare multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary models. They discuss professional scope, misconceptions and shared terminology, with an emphasis on understanding the learner’s circumstances and each colleague’s expertise.

Later sections address sensory processing, private events, assessment and barriers such as time and uncertainty about asking questions. A fuller case discussion about Sam is proposed for a subsequent session; it is not claimed as a completed case study in this recording.
